Hawks to try for third straight win

ATLANTA - The Atlanta Hawks will be trying for their third straight win Wednesday night when they host the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers come into the game with their own three-game winning streak after beating the Nets 105-90 Tuesday night night at New Jersey.

The Hawks have won back-to-back victories at home -- defeating the Nets and the 76ers -- after a dismal western road trip in which they lost four of five.

The Lakers visited Atlanta a year ago, when a rare sellout came to Philips Arena to see Kobe Bryant. That game ended with a 90-83 Los Angeles victory.
