Chattahoochee Bank of GA names 3 new directors

GAINESVILLE - The Board of Directors of Chattahoochee Bank of Georgia recently announced the appointment of three new directors.

C. Brian Daniel is president of Carroll Daniel Construction Company, a general contracting and construction management firm located in Gainesville. Daniel earned his B.S. in Management from Auburn University and his M.S. in Building Construction from Southern Polytechnic State University. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville and is affiliated with a number of community and business organizations.

Daniel serves as a board member of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, past chairman and current board member of Challenged Child and Friends and a board member of the Georgia Branch of the Associated General Contractors. Daniel is a graduate of Leadership Hall County, and is active in the United Way of Hall County, Young Presidents Organization and the Gainesville Kiwanis Club.

Missy Dimo is a partner with Dimo Group Inc., a local retail jewelry company. Before receiving her degree from The Gemological Institute of America, she began her career managing one of the successful retail jewelry stores owned by her father in the very competitive jewelry district of Istanbul, Turkey. She currently supervises the accounting function of the Dimo Group and manages the Dimo family real estate holdings.

William L. Rogers Jr. became a partner with Whelchel & Dunlap, LLP, in 1976, where he currently practices real estate and banking law. A 1968 graduate of Emory University with a B.A. in history, Rogers earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1971, where he was a member of the Georgia Law Review and a legal writing instructor. That same year, he was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia.

He is a member of the Gainesville-Northeastern Bar Association, serving as President from 1988-89. He has also served on the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the State Bar of Georgia, of which he is a member. Active in the local community, Rogers is a past president of the United Way of Hall County, a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville, a past director of the Gainesville-Hall County Chamber of Commerce and a fund-raiser for the Laurel Society of The Medical Center Foundation.
