Gwinnett Co. gang members indicted for cocaine trafficking

ATLANTA - Four Gwinnett County men are among those indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of conspiring to possess cocaine with the intent to distribute.

A release from the U.S. Department of Justice identifies the suspects as Richardo Larios-Trujillo, 33, of Lawrenceville; Rigoberto Delgado-Orozco, 30, of Buford; Ramon Cortez, 20, of Lawrenceville; Homer Larios, 34, of Lawrenceville; and Alexander I. Acher, 29, of Southborough, Mass.

Authorities said several of the men are believed to be a part of the Hispanic street gang "South Side Myfas."

Officials said the men are accused of using an audio installation business at 134 Clayton Street in Lawrenceville to store and distribute the cocaine. They said that's where the defendants allegedly purchased more than five kilograms of cocaine from an undercover FBI agent on Nov. 3. The release states that agents also seized $130,000 in cash from the defendants at that time.

Authorities said the charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison and a fine of up to $80,000.

The case is being investigated by Special Agents of the FBI and ICE.
