GAINESVILLE - With a larger than usual voter turnout expected Tuesday, workers at the Hall County Elections Office are making sure they're ready for the rush.
Interim Hall County Elections Director Charlotte Sosebee-Hunter said she's sending even more poll workers and touch-screen machines to the precincts this year than have been sent in previous years.
"Some precincts added one to four workers and we have added anywhere between one and three machines to some precincts," she said.
Sosebee-Hunter said if more voting machines are needed, she is prepared to send extras.
She also stressed that anyone in line between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Election Day will be able to cast a ballot.
