ATHENS - A Gainesville State College student and a student at the University of Georgia are charged with an incident that left a female student at UGA with second-degree burns on her body.
University of Georgia Police Chief David Williamson told Fox 5 that Matthew Klein, a student at Gainesville State, and David Neyhart, a UGA student, wrote on the woman's body with silver nitrate while she slept at a house near the UGA campus.
Williamson said the incident left the victim with scars and second-degree burns on her arms, chest and back.
He would not discuss a possible motive, but did say the woman knew one of her attackers.
