TALBOTTON - Police have arrested two Talbotton firefighters on arson charges in connection with two separate blazes in the west Georgia town.
Sheriff Bill Johnson says 30-year-old Jeff Scott Nelson and 32-year-old Norman Cable are believed to be responsible for fires at a tax service on November 11, 2007, and at a downtown home on May 23, 2004. Bond has not been set for the two firefighters, who are being held in the Talbot County Jail.
