DAVIE, Fla. -- One win in his first season was not enough to impress the new boss. Miami Dolphins coach Cam Cameron has been fired by team executive vice president Bill Parcells.
The move means the Dolphins will be looking for their fifth coach in five years.
Cameron was the first to be fired by the franchise in 37 years.
Cameron coached the Dolphins for 11 months before he earned his first win, in overtime over Baltimore on December 16th. He was hired over at least a dozen candidates and signed a four-year contract last January.
Mimai has missed the playoffs for six straight seasons.
