College student dies after swim at Pensacola beach

<p>A 19-year-old college student died over the weekend after being pulled from the Gulf of Mexico, authorities said.</p><p>Daniel Mundy, of Gray, Ga., was flown to a hospital Saturday, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. An autopsy was planned to determine cause of death.</p><p>"I don't really think it was a drowning," said Terry Morris, a district ranger at Gulf Islands National Seashore. Morris noted there were no rip currents and the water was relatively flat at the time.</p><p>He said Mundy, who attended Pensacola Christian College, was wading in waist-deep water when he suddenly yelled for help and collapsed.</p><p>"One of his friends saw his eyes roll back in his head and saw him fall backward," Morris said.
