BUFORD - A third suspect has been arrested in connection with a murder that occurred in Buford on February 5.
The body of Jimmy Lee West of Dacula was found outside a house on Hill Circle.
Gwinnett Police spokesman Darren Moloney says West and the suspects knew each other and were in the same car when some sort of dispute arose.
"West was driving," Cpl. Moloney said Wednesday, "when he was shot. The car left the road and ended up in a yard. The bottom line is that this was not a random act of violence. All of these people knew each other."
Arrested shortly after West was killed were Joseph Andrew Smith and Marco McIlwain, both also from Dacula.
Wednesday, Gwinnett Police sannounced that they have also charged Keith Orlando Owens, Junior, with murder.
