Suwanee wreck claims life of Auburn man

SUWANEE - Gwinnett County Police are investigating a fatality wreck that happened Wednesday afternoon in Suwanee that claimed the life of an Auburn man.

Cpl. Darren Moloney says the wreck happened at a "T" intersection of Crestridge Drive and Crestridge Court that is controlled by a single stop sign on Crestridge Court.

According to Moloney a car traveling west on Crestridge Court pulled out in front of an SUV that was traveling north on Crestridge Drive.

48-year-old Brandon Morrow of Auburn was a passenger in the back seat of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 21-year-old Martin Dean Williams of Loganville, and another passenger, 60-year-old Arthur Collins of Lawrenceville, were transported to Gwinnett Medical Center with serious injuries.

The driver of the SUV, 44-year-old Ivan Basilio Crisan of Lawrenceville, was not injured.

Moloney says everyone was wearing a seat belt but Morrow.

Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be contributing factors, but test results are still pending.

Misdemeanor charges are pending against Williams.
