Police arrest 3 in killing of Dalton High School football player

<p>Two more people have been arrested in the death of a Dalton High School football player who was fatally shot at a convenience store after a Memorial Day swim.</p><p>Coach Ronnie McClurg said Andrae Johnson and some friends had gone swimming on Fort Mountain and stopped at a Mini Super store on their return when Johnson was shot Monday evening.</p><p>Bruno Sanchez, 19, and Edgar Hernandez, 20, were arrested late Tuesday and charged with murder and violation of the Georgia Street Gangs Act,</p><p>Earlier in the day, Jose Chavarria, a member of the Tiny Winos gang, was charged with murder and violation of the Georgia Street Gangs Act, said John Parrish, supervisory agent in charge of the FBI's Rossville office.</p><p>Parrish declined to give more details late Tuesday.</p><p>According to witnesses of Monday's shooting, one of Johnson's friends went into the store and a group of other youths came by and one of them tried to hit Johnson with a bottle, but he blocked it away. "Someone then just shot him in the side and he died," McClurg told the Chattanooga Times Free Press.</p><p>"It's just a senseless death and we're all shocked," McClurg said.</p><p>Johnson, 16, a defensive end, would have been a senior this coming season.</p><p>___</p><p>HASH(0x2de9f3c)</p>
