CLARKESVILLE - A veteran South Carolina high school basketball coach, with a championship track record, has been hired to coach the Habersham Central High School boys' basketball team.<br>

Habersham Superintendent of Schools Judy Forbes confirmed Wednesday that Don Ledbetter has been named to the post.<br>
<br>
Ledbetter coached the boys' team at Seneca, S.C., High School for 23 years, winning five state championships.<br>
<br>
He also won seven region championships and he was the region coach of the year twice, in 1983 and 1991.
