Barrow taxes going up?

WINDER - Taxes may be going up in Barrow County to help fund airport improvements and a new industrial park.

The county commission votes Tuesday on a $15 million bond issue for the projects.

The money will be used to buy about 260 acres near the Northeast Georgia Regional Airport to pay a runway extension and infrastructure as well as build an industrial park in the same area.
