GAINESVILLE - Gainesville Care Center, which has been offering crisis pregnancy counseling for twenty years, has a new service which is being offer to men as well as women.

It is now offering testing certain sexually transmitted diseases (STDs): chlamydia, gonnarhea, herpes and HIV.

Executive Director Ann Gainey says clients can request testing for one or all of the STDs, "whatever they prefer."

Gainey, appearing on this weekend's Northeast Georgia This Week on WDUN NEWS TALK 550 (like AccessNorthGa.com a division of Jacobs Media Corp.), said this new service, like all of those offered by Gainesville Care Center, is free of charge.

Gainey added it is for men and women who come in as singles or as couples.
