<p>The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a crash in Paulding County that killed a school bus driver.</p><p>Authorities say the driver -- 57-year-old Diane Wright -- was killed instantly in the crash about 2 p.m. yesterday (on Ridge Road near Bethel Church Road) in Hiram.</p><p>NO students were on board at the time of the wreck.</p><p>Authorities say Wright was headed to P-B Ritch Elementary School to take students home when the bus was hit head-on by a concrete truck that cross the center line.</p><p>Investigators are trying to determine what caused the driver of the truck to lose control.</p><p>The truck driver -- whose name has NOT been released -- sustained severe burns over most of his body when the truck caught fire. He is listed in critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.</p><p>The State Patrol says it's too early to say whether charges will be filed in the case.</p>
