DULUTH, Ga. - Tarriq Muhammad scored 15 points and Al-Farouq Aminu added 14 as defending state champion Norcross beat Tift County 58-34 in the semifinals of the Class AAAAA Georgia High School Association tournament on Thursday.<br>

Norcross (28-3), which will make its third straight appearance in the final, had 11 points from Jordan DeMercy, a Florida State signee, and six from Tony Neysmith, who signed a scholarship with Oklahoma.<br>

Georgia Tech signee Gani Lawal had just four points, but his dunk at the 7:50 mark of the third quarter made it 31-13.<br>

Aminu and Neysmith combined for 14 rebounds for Norcross, which has three straight victories by a margin of at least 20 points. The Blue Devils have a four-game winning streak since losing 49-46 to Peachtree Ridge in the Region 7-AAAAA final.<br>

Norcross will play the winner of Centennial-M.L. King on Friday. The Blue Devils beat Wheeler for the 2006 title. They lost to Wheeler in '05.<br>

Terrell Johnson and Michael Fowler each had 11 points for Tift County (20-11). Tift had just 13 field goals to go with 13 turnovers.<br>
