Meanwhile, georgiagasprices.com reports a Commerce convenience store was selling regular, unleaded for $2.49, one the highest prices in the state. One of the lowest prices, on Tuesday, was in Gainesville, $2.31.

AAA Auto Club South reports that the state averages, as of Wednesday morning, were: $2.40 for regular, unleaded; $2.59 for mid-grade; and, $2.70 for premium. The national averages were: $2.50, $2.65, and $2.75.
