CUMMING - Class AAAAA Peachtree Ridge escaped with a one stroke win over Class AAA White County Tuesday in girls golf action at Countryland Golf Course.
Peachtree Ridge edged White County 91-92 to win the three-team meet. Class AAAAA North Forsyth finished five strokes behind the Lady Warriors with a 97.
White County's Sarah Holmes took home the low medalist honors firing a nine-hole 44. Bee Rogers carded a 48 for the Lady Warriors. It was the first dual or tri-meet loss for White County this season.
The Lady Warriors will it up against defending Region 7-AAA champ Gainesville at Chattahoochee Golf Course on Thursday.
