GAINESVILLE - AT&T is planning to expand its services in Hall County this year to the tune of nearly $10 million.
Paul Chambers, the company's Northeast Georgia Representative, told the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Thursday that that includes providing DSL Service to 85 percent of the homes in Gillsville. That amounts to about 400 homes, according to Chambers, who is also a member of the chamber board.
Chambers also said $8 million worth of expanded services is planned in Hall County - and that's just for "hardwire," not wireless, communications.
