Lady Falcons shoot down Chestatee

GAINESVILLE - Flowery Branch did not drop a set in taking a 5-0 win over Chestatee Monday in girls Region 7-AAA tennis action.

Jennica Ramey whipped Erica Lackey 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles while Jasmine Griffith beat Amy Werner 6-3, 6-1 at No. 2. Megan Grewett then beat Mandi Wehunt 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles to clinch the match.

The No. 1 doubles team of Nicki Price and Kelsey Hughes beat Tiffany Haynes and Daphne Carder 6-0, 6-1 while the No. 2 team of Charly Garmon and Morgan Ruiz knocked off Christine Mitchell and Alivia Mueller 6-1, 6-3 to complete the sweep.
