CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Greg Biffle has escaped any penalty for failing post-race inspection following Sunday's Nextel Cup race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
The rear of Biffle's car was too low but NASCAR officials decided it had settled due to normal wear and tear during the race.
Sunday's race was the first involving the Car of Tomorrow. NASCAR officials have informed teams that they will relax the height and weight tolerances of the C-O-T's as the sanctioning body adjusts to the new car race reactions.
