FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas basketball coach Stan Heath says Quantez Robertson's versatility on the Auburn team makes him a major problem for the Razorbacks when they visit Auburn on Wednesday.
``He runs their team with assists, scoring and guarding,'' Heath said Monday. ``He's one of the best point guards in our league and his numbers reflect that.''
Heath said Arkansas' win over Mississippi on Saturday kept hopes alive for a bid to the NCAA tournament for the Razorbacks (16-10, 5-7 Southeastern Conference), and for a share of the SEC West regular season crown. Three teams Mississippi, Mississippi State and Alabama are tied at the top of the division with 6-6 league records, while Arkansas is just a game behind.
``We're still in this fight. It's going to take winning, playing our way in and winning on the road,'' the Arkansas coach said.
Auburn (14-13, 4-8) is a tough opponent to face on its home court, Heath said.

``We need to go to Auburn prepared to face adversity and the way they play at home,'' he said. ``They have good balance. They can hit you with four or five different players that can score from different spots on the floor.

``They've already beaten Vanderbilt and Tennessee at home, so we know it will be tough.''

The Razorbacks will have to play good defense, control the tempo and a major concern for Arkansas this season keep possession of the ball, Heath said. ``Our turnovers have been higher on the road than they have at home,'' he said.
Heath said the inside play of Steven Hill, Darian Townes and Charles Thomas will be important for Arkansas against the Tigers.

``Between scoring and rebounding, and dominating the paint, they will have to play a strong game for us,'' Heath said.
After being hampered by a hamstring injury that affected his timing, Hill is as healthy as he has been for a while, his coach said.
``Before the LSU game, against Auburn the first time and going back for three or four games, he was playing his best basketball,'' Heath said. The injury ``has had him out of sync and out of rhythm. The lift on his shot was not the same and his shot blocking was off. That injury had an impact on our team,'' the coach said.
