BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - Former Gainesville High standout Jamarco Warren poured in 21 points to lead Charleston Southern but it wasn't enough as the Bucs were routed by Gardner-Webb 105-77 Saturday night.
Thomas Sanders had 22 points and 10 rebounds, to lead Gardner-Webb, which snapped a four-game losing streak.
Aaron Linn also scored 22 points and Grayson Flittner added 18 for the Runnin' Bulldogs (6-8), who shot 52 percent and made 13 of 23 3-pointers in avenging an 11-point loss to Charleston Southern on Dec. 15.
Gardner-Webb held a 47-35 rebounding advantage, had 23 assists to the Bucs' 10 and committed just eight turnovers. The Runnin' Bulldogs had 19 giveaways in each of their last two losses.
Charleston Southern (5-7) has lost five of seven since starting 3-2. Omar Carter scored 12 points and Shelton Carter added 10 for the Bucs, who lost despite shooting 40 percent.
Gardner-Webb improved to 3-1 at home and is averaging 96.75 points in those games at Paul Porter Arena.
