UGA commitment Green named to South Carolina all-state team

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Star Summerville High School receiver A.J. Green tops the list for The Associated Press' 2007 all-state football team.<br /> <br /> Green, who has verbally pledged to attend Georgia, earned the honor in each of his four seasons at the tradition-rich program. He caught 87 passes this season for more than 15-hundred yards and 24 touchdowns.<br /> <br /> Bamberg-Ehrhardt's DaQuan Bowers heads up the all-state defense. Bowers, who has committed to Clemson, had 14 tackles and rushed for more than 12-hundred yards this season.<br /> <br /> Abbeville's Toquavius Gilchrist is the team's all-purpose player, rushing for 882 yards and making 38 tackles.
