DOUGLASVILLE -- Douglasville Police Chief Joe Whisenant says two suspects arrested after Atlanta Hawks forward Shelden Williams was carjacked at gunpoint face charges in five five armed robberies.
Whisenant said the suspects will remain in the Douglas County Jail indefinitely before they have a chance to be charged in Fulton County on Williams' carjacking.
Whisenant identified the two suspects as Bernard Moss and Darius Mathis, both 18 and from Atlanta. He said Moss and Mathis were arrested Saturday after their alleged involvement in two armed robberies with shoppers leaving Arbor Place Mall in Douglas County, following the carjacking in Atlanta.
The two were spotted when officers identified Williams' stolen 2008 Chrysler Aspen.
