GAINESVILLE - The City of Gainesville Web site now offers a way to help you determine the cost of your water bill when the new water conservation rate structure takes effect January 1.
Gainesville Public Utilities Finance and Administrative Division Manager Tina Wetherford says she hopes all water customers will take advantage.
"The City of Gainesville Public Utilities Department appreciates the excellent job the citizens of Gainesville and Hall County are doing in conserving water during this very critical time," Wetherford said. "We, along with our consultant, have developed a rate calculator that we hope will be beneficial to our customers in their continued efforts to conserve water."
For more information on determining your future water rates go to http://www.gainesville.org and click on calculator. The Web site also contains information on water conservation resources ways to save water and water conservation resources.
