WINDER - A traffic accident in Barrow County has taken the life of a 34-year-old Marietta man.
State Trooper Curtis Bradshaw says Christopher Logan Humbert's car hit a truck at the intersection of Highways 316 and 81.
"A log truck had stopped for a redlight," he said. "As soon as he started off from the red light, he was struck from the rear. "
The driver of the log truck, Stevie Odell Potts of Monroe, was not injured and according to Bradshaw, the truck had working tail lights.
