Lanier now 19 feet below full pool

UNDATED - A wet end to the holiday weekend... but the rainfall deficit continues to grow while lake levels continue to dwindle.

At 6:00 Monday morning, the level of Lake Lanier was exactly 1052.00... and that is exactly 19 feet below full pool. The lake level has dropped another two-thirds of a foot in the past week.

Weekend showers in Gainesville produced just .05 inches of rain at the airport, leaving the deficit for the year at almost 23 inches.
