MARIETTA - The East Hall girls basketball team moved into the title game of the Grey Hound Thanksgiving Tournament at Pope High School.
The defending Class AAA state champions held off Class AAAAA Centennial 45-40 Tuesday night in one semifinal game.
Chestatee fell to host Pope 58-27 in the other semifinal.
Sada Wheeler led the Lady Vikings (2-0) with 27 points, nine rebounds, and five blocks. Jessica Blackwell added nine points, six assists, and three rebounds and Tierra Benton had eight rebounds and three blocks for East Hall.
The Lady Vikings led most of the game taking a 29-25 lead into halftime.
East Hall next will take on Pope at 6 p.m. Saturday in the finals.
