GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville City Council and Hall County Commission plan to meet next week to again discuss the future of the now-abandoned county jail property in Midtown.
The city strongly objected after the county said several weeks ago a privately-run prison was a possibility for the site.
The two groups are scheduled to get together next Monday to discuss the matter.
