Elrod accounts for 4 TDS in Shorter's 42-18 victory over Lambuth

ROME - Drew Elrod scored three touchdowns on runs of 36. 4 and 5 yards and also threw a 24-yard scoring pass to lead Shorter to a 42-18 victory over Lambuth on Saturday.<br>

Elrod's scoring pass went to Nick Dodson as the Hawks (7-4, 3-3 Mid-South Conference) completed their season.<br>

Shorter's other scores came on a 7-yard run by Chris Chapman and a 29-yard run by Blake Terrell.<br>
<br>
Lambuth trailed 35-3 before the Tennessee team staged a late comeback that began when Vincent Mazzurco blocked a punt out of the end zone for a safety with 4:40 remaining.<br>

Then, with 1:50 to play, Josh Garza completed an 11-yard TD pass to Brandon Okechukwu and 11 seconds later, after the Eagles (3-8, 2-5) recovered an onside kick, Garza hurled a 37-yard scoring strike to Dustin Hargrove.
