MARIETTA - The North Cobb football team showed why it is the top-ranked team in Class AAAAA Warriors manhandling Marietta 49-0 Friday night to finish the regular season undefeated.<br>

The Warriors routed the Blue Devils behind their vaunted rushing attack, led by Calvin Middleton. Middleton ran for over 200 yards and three touchdowns.<br>

Quarterback Matt Roark complimented Middleton throwing for 186 yards and three touchdowns, with Rico Mack accounting for 130 yards and two touchdowns.<br>
<br>
Things got a little chippy in the second half as Blue Devil lineman Jack Dowdell was ejected for retaliating on a late hit on Marietta quarterback Ryan White.
