SNELLVILLE - A prayer vigil was held Sunday at a Snellville church for a missing Gainesville College student.

Friends and family of Justin Gaines, 18, gathered at noon at Grace Fellowship Church just one day after fanning out across the area of Gwinnett County where he was last seen ten days ago.

Gaines, a student at the GSC Oconee campus, was last seen the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 1. He was reported missing last Sunday by his mother.

According to the police report, Ms. Wilson said Justin came home Thursday night from Athens and told her he was going out with friends. He was dropped off at Wild Bill's Thursday night. Later that night, he called his friend to pick him up, but his friend told him that he could not. When Justin had not returned home on Sunday, Ms. Wilson called 911.

Friends of the victim told police he has false IDs in the names of Brad Allen and Brad Shewe. Justin is described as 5"11' and 210 lbs with a muscular build. He has blue eyes and brown hair with a short buzz cut. Both of his ears are pierced with diamond studs. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve, gray shirt with "Abercrombie" written on the front, blue jeans with holes and flip flops.

Anyone who has information on Justin's whereabouts or if anyone has seen Justin is asked to call the Gwinnett County Police Department at 770-513-5300.
