ATLANTA - Lewis Clinch scored 21 points and Georgia Tech scored 74 points in the first half on the way to beating Carson-Newman 126-86 Friday night in an exhibition game.
Clinch also grabbed seven rebounds while playing just 20 minutes.
Tech jumped to leads of 14-0 and 25-1 on its way to a 74-36 halftime advantage.
Anthony Morrow and Brad Sheehan scored 18 points apiece for the Yellow Jackets, who outrebounded Carson-Newman 66-42.
Darren Williams and Cameron Sharp scored 17 points apiece for Carson-Newman.
