Boston College takes Steve Logan as offensive coordinator

RALEIGH, N.C. - Former East Carolina football coach Steve Logan said he has taken a job as offensive coordinator at Boston College under new head coach Jeff Jagodzinski, who was on the East Carolina staff under Logan.<br>

``I'm thrilled. I really am,'' Logan said Tuesday. ``Boston College is a great school with a terrific football history. I'm tickled to get the chance to be a part of that, and I want to do everything in my power to help Jeff get off to the best start possible.''<br>

Logan has been hosting a sports talk show in Raleigh and has worked as a quarterback coach and offensive coordinator for NFL Europe.<br>

He had a 69-58 record during his tenure at Eact Carolina from 1992 to 2002, the most wins in the school's history.<br>
<br>
Logan was dismissed in 2002 and received a settlement of $200,000 a year that ended Jan. 1.
