LAWRENCEVILLE - A man wanted in the beating death of his father has been arrested.
Mark L. Noble had been sought since the body of 59-year-old Rupert Noble was found in his Norcross home on Christmas Day.
Stacey Bourbonnais, spokeswoman for the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department, says 33-year-old Mark Noble was arrested Monday in Gilmer County.
Bourboinnais says Noble was stopped in Gilmer County for driving a vehicle with a stolen tag.
Noble, who has since been brought back to Gwinnett County, has been charged with murder. Gwinnett County District Attorney Danny Porter said Noble could also face other charges.
One of Rupert Noble's daughters called police Christmas night to check on her father when he didn't show up at her home. Police arrived to find Rupert Noble's beaten body.
