GAINESVILLE - A homeless man was treated at the medical center and released after being hit by a car west of Gainesville Sunday night. <br>

The state patrol says Antonio Vasquez was struck about 6:30 when he stepped into the path of a car on Memorial Park Road. <br>

The accident happened near the Atlanta Highway intersection.<br>
