``Both of these coaches bring unique experiences to our staff,'' new coach Tom O'Brien said. ``I'm glad to have our complete staff in place and am confident that each coach has the same goal that I do for N.C. State football to produce champions in the classroom, in the community and on the football field.''<br>

McCollum, 47, was the head coach at Middle Tennessee from 1999-05 and guided the Blue Raiders through their transition from Division I-AA to I-A, but was fired after his fourth consecutive losing season. He was a scout this season for the Tennessee Titans and has 23 years of coaching experience.<br>

Reed, 34, coached the Eagles' defense and special teams during the past five seasons, and has seven years of coaching experience.
