Forsyth Co. school receives donation

CUMMING - A Forsyth County school gets $25 thousand in a public-private partnership to update its technology.

The presentation was made at a ceremony Thursday morning.

The money comes from James Creek and PEC Development and goes to Daves Creek Elementary.

The check presentation was used to highlight the school's use of technology in its curriculum and included a tour of its student-run newsroom and various classrooms.

This donation is the school's largest, single contribution through its Partners in Education program.
