WATKINSVILLE - The Lakeview Academy girls volleyball team split a pair of matches Tuesday at Athens Academy.
Eagles Landing knocked off the Lady Lions (5-2) 22-25, 25-19, 25-22 in the first match. Lakeview rebounded in the second match to beat host Athens Academy 25-21 and 25-19.
Nadia Muhanna had a big night, recording seven combined kills to go with 2 1/2 blocks. Elif Alyanak set up the offense well, combining for 19 assists, 11 against Athens Academy.
Kate Norton had three kills against Athens Academy and Lydiann Jacobs recorded three digs against Eagles Landing.
Lakeview will be back in action Thursday at Flowery Branch, against the Lady Falcons and Forsyth Central.
