DeKalb County police investigate apparent murder-suicide

<p>A man shot and killed his common-law wife in front of their daughters and then shot himself, police said.</p><p>Marsay Holman, 35, and Carolyn Johnson, 34, both of Lithonia, had been fighting Sunday when Johnson left with their three daughters, aged 6, 14 and 16, DeKalb County police said. Holman jumped into her sport utility vehicle as it was leaving, according to police.</p><p>Holman shot Johnson and told their daughters to get out of the vehicle. It appears that Holman then shot himself, police spokesman Herschel Grangent said.</p><p>The girls ran to a neighbor's house for help. The couple also had a son who was at a sleep-over when the shooting occurred.</p>
