3,000 have already voted

GAINESVILLE - About 3,000 people in Hall County have already voted for Tuesday's primaries, according to elections director Anne Phillips Lea.

They are the ones who took advantage of several extra weeks of absentee balloting this year and week of advance voting.

The expanded absentee voting period began in early June and a week of advance voting ended at 5:00 Friday.
