KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - A North Carolina man has been sentenced to 36 months in prison for causing a wreck nearly two years ago that killed a Buford couple, according to a Tennessee newspaper.
The Knoxville Sentinel's Web site says Jeffery Scott Jennings was sentenced earlier this week for the deaths of Jimmy and Carol House, whose motorcyle was hit by a van driven by Jennings.
The accident happened in September 2004 on Foothills Parkway on federal forest land in eastern Tennessee.
The Houses were the owners of Tapp's Funeral Home in Buford.
