BOSTON - Bryan Henry pitched seven shutout innings for Florida State as the Seminoles defeated Boston College 7-1 on Friday.<br>

Henry (8-1) gave up four hits and two walks while striking out five.<br>

The Seminoles (29-4, 10-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) got six runs in the fifth inning. They loaded the bases on back-to-back singles by Dan Diaz and Shane Robinson and Jack Rye's walk before Buster Posey singled to make it a 2-0 game. Robinson extended his hitting streak to 20.<br>

The Eagles' Nate Jeanes (1-3) gave up a third run before he was replaced by Michael Wanamaker. Florida State scored four more runs, including RBI singles by Travis Anderson and Ryan McCardle.<br>

Nick Asselin, Matt Meyer and Ryne Reynoso combined to shut down Florida State after the fifth inning.<br>
<br>
The only run for Boston College (16-13-1,4-9 ACC) came in the ninth when Shawn McGill tripled to score Dave Preziosi.<br>

Diaz opened scoring for the Seminoles on a third-inning wild pitch.<br>
