Southwest Atlanta Christian 69, Randolph-Clay 65; Whitefield Academy 72, Wilkinson County 55

<p>Kevin Anderson scored 18 points and Whitefield Academy beat Wilkinson County 72-55 on Wednesday night, setting up a championship game with Southwest Atlanta Christian on Saturday.</p><p>Southwest Atlanta Christian (27-5), which ended Randolph-Clay's 90-game winning streak in a 69-65 win, will be trying to recapture the title it last won in 2004. Whitefield Academy (27-4) won the championship the previous year.</p><p>The teams share the nickname Warriors.</p><p>Whitefield opened the second quarter with a 9-0 run, holding the Wolfpack (29-3) scoreless for the first four minutes. On all 3-pointers, Kelvin McConnell scored nine of his team's next 11 points as Whitefield took a 43-27 lead late in the half.</p><p>McConnell, who finished with 14 points, made another shot from beyond the arc to push the lead to 20 points in the third. Bryant Miller's putback shot later in the period gave Whitefield its largest lead at 60-37.</p><p>Scenario Hillman led Wilkinson County with 18 points, while Keith Davis added 16 points.</p><p>In the first game, Javaris Crittenton scored 16 points in the second half after a sluggish start and helped Southwest Atlanta Christian toward the victory, ending the state's longest winning streak.</p><p>After Randolph-Clay jumped out to a 53-45 lead in the third quarter, the Warriors tied the game on two free throws by Omarr Prewitt that capped an 8-0 run. Prewitt, a 6-foot-5 junior center, scored 12 points.</p><p>Crittenton, who finished with 21 points, helped the Warriors pull away with a 14-4 run late in the fourth quarter.</p><p>Rashaad Lewis led Randolph-Clay with 26 points and 14 rebounds, while Deandre Johnson scored 12 points.</p>
