<p>Parents are angry after the DeKalb County school superintendent removed the principal of Lakeside High School -- one of the county's highest achieving high schools.</p><p>Superintendent Crawford Lewis removed Lakeside High School Principal Wayne Chelf Tuesday. The principal was in his second year leading the school in north DeKalb County.</p><p>He has been temporarily reassigned to an area superintendent's office.</p><p>Parents first learned about the removal in an e-mail Tuesday night.</p><p>Immediate past president of the Lakeside Parents-Teacher Association -- Mary Kay Woodworth -- says Chelf was doing a "fantastic job."</p><p>She says Lewis told parents in a three-hour meeting yesterday that he had grounds for Chelf's removal and that his decision will NOT be reversed.</p><p>System spokesman Dale Davis says Lewis will NOT discuss details about the move because it is a personnel matter.</p>
