Students inducted into Brenau Honorary Scholastic Society

Its purpose was to recognize academic excellence among members of the Women&#39;s College junior and senior classes. This became Brenau University Honorary Scholastic Society. In 1982, the Brenau Chapter was formed for the purpose of recognizing the growth and expansion of the University programs and of recognizing the scholarship and achievements of University students.<br> <br> Candidates must be fulltime students, attend Brenau for at least one year, earn at least 85 hours of academic credit and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 from the time of nomination until graduation. Those being honored at graduation will receive Brenau University Honorary Scholastic Society membership certificates in their diploma folders and tassels to wear on their caps. Inductees will also be recognized during Spring Honors Convocation in April.
