Winder principal named Georgia's Principal of the Year

WINDER - A Barrow County principal has been named the 2006-2007 &#34;Principal of the Year&#34; for Georgia. <br> <br> Dennis Clarke is Principal of Apalachee High School in Winder. He will represent Georgia for the National Association of Secondary School Principals/MetLife Principal of the Year Award which will be announced next February in Las Vegas.<br> <br> Clarke has worked in the Oconee County school system as a vocational supervisor, director of Maintenance and Facilities and associate principal of Oconee County High School. He has also served as principal of Lincoln County High School.<br> <br> Clarke will go on the National Association of secondary School Principals Board of Director&#39;s in July.
