<p>Taser International has filed a motion asking a Gwinnett County judge to dismiss a lawsuit involving the death of an inmate.</p><p>The motion filed yesterday in Lawrenceville says the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner's Office found Frederick Jerome Williams died of cardiac arrest in May 2004. The motion says the autopsy did NOT list the use of a Taser gun as a contributing factor.</p><p>The motion says deputies who went to Williams' home in Lawrenceville were dealing with a -- quote -- "highly agitated, delusional man." It says he refused to cooperate with deputies.</p><p>Police say after an initial struggle with officers, Williams was handcuffed and put in a patrol car and driven to the Gwinnett County Detention Center. Authorities say he continued to be combative and lost consciousness after being stunned multiple times with the Taser.</p><p>He died the following day at Gwinnett Medical Center.</p><p>Williams' widow filed a lawsuit against the county, Taser International and the county's contracted medical provider at the jail, Prison Health Services, last year.</p><p>On the Net:</p><p>HASH(0x1cda0bc)</p><p>HASH(0x1cda164)</p>
