Van peppered by gunfire in New Holland

GAINESVILLE - A van was peppered by gunfire in New Holland early Wednesday and the gang task force is among the agencies investigating.<br> <br> The incident happened on Branch Street just before 7:00, according to Maj. Jeff Strickland of the Hall County Sheriff&#39;s Office. &#34;Upon arrival they discovered that a van parked at a house had been damaged by what appears to be birdshot. Neighbors reported hearing gunfire but no one witnessed the incident.&#34;<br> <br> No arrests have been made.<br> <br> The shooting is being investigating by the the Hall County Sheriff&#39;s Office Criminal Investigations Division and the Gainesville/Hall County Gang Task Force. <br>
